LEHIGH VALLEY, PA (April 18, 2008) - Mack Trucks, Inc. announced the recipients of its 2007 Distributor of the Year awards. Every year, Mack acknowledges the efforts and contributions of its dealer network by honoring high-performing distributors in its U.S., Canada and International business units.
Selection criteria include sales, facilities, personnel, leasing, service, parts, general management, customer satisfaction and community service. In addition, the U.S. Distributor of the Year is selected from a pool of regional honorees.
Ballard Mack Sales & Service, Inc., Worcester, MA is the U.S. Distributor of the Year for 2007. Ballard Mack has locations in Worcester, Massachusetts, where the dealer principal is John Picking, and Johnston, Rhode Island, where the dealer principal is Steven Grahn. Ballard Mack has operated the Worcester location for 20 years and the Johnston location for seven years. Ballard Mack employs approximately 60 persons.
